moss in the clouds top
Construction
☆ This is a made-to-measure pattern, written with the assumption to recreate the original piece, which is structured as the following: baggy, mock neck, asymmetric, button-up, ruffle ends, with diamond motif in the back. However, there are so many ways you can play around with this structure, so while the pattern is written with the assumption that you will be creating the said asymmetric top with the same details, you will see notes here and there on how you can play around or change.
Materials
☆ You can use any yarn depending on the look you are going for. The original tops are knitted with two lace weight mohair yarn held together (Tynn silk mohair by Sandness garn for white top, and Kid Seta by Cascade yarns for blue top). The needle size you would use for this project will depend on the type of yarn you use - I suggest using the recommended needle size written on the yarn label. Some testers had success using cotton blend yarns, boucle, as well as silk.
Other details
☆ The pattern is made-to-measure, and it will require you to take some measurements of your own body before starting (a drawing of the measurements included in the pattern). Every body is very different, so if the pattern written does not make sense for your body type, please do not hesitate to reach out to me for clarifications or suggestions at moshimoknit@gmail.com or Instagram (@moshimo.knit).
☆ The pattern is for personal use only. You may not redistribute, copy, or resell this pattern in whole or in parts. You may sell finished items made from this pattern in small quantities, but please credit @moshimo.knit (Aya Yokoyama) as the original designer.
