Moss Scarf
This scarf is a suitable project for beginners, but it can also be a simple knit for a more experienced knitter to work on when you don’t want to concentrate too much on changing colours or different techniques. It is worked in one solid colour and knitted in a structured pattern. At the bottom, top, and along both sides, the structured pattern is framed with neat edges. A classic long scarf can become a warm and practical accessory for both women and men. A smaller scarf is a quick knit and makes a useful accessory. The pattern is easy to adapt to the yarn of your choice. Adding a strand of silk mohair held together with the main yarn will make the scarf extra soft and fluffy.
The pattern is easily adjustible to preferred finished length and widh on the scarf. The size and amount of yarn required will vary depending on the yarn and knitting gauge. The instructions describe a relatively small scarf measuring 10 cm x 170 cm.
