These gloves are knitted in the round, predominantly with moss stitch with a cable on the top. They are designed for slightly larger hands, to adjust size by adjusting the number of stitches the cable is 16 stitches across and the thumb is 4 stitches either side of that (right hand 4 are worked in moss after the cable, left hand 2 the first two stitches and the last two of the round add up to make the 4).

I used DPNs and found the easiest way to split the stitches was to have 20 stitches on the first needle and split the rest between another two, this way all the cable is on one needle with 2 extra stitches either side of it.

They took slightly less than half a 100g ball of double knit yarn approximately so I’m not sure of the exact meterage, 50g might be enough.

A cable needle and two stitch markers for the thumb will also be needed
