DESCRIPTION

The Mossy Grove twisted headband is an easy to make headband perfect for any season. This twisted headband is made using the moss stitch (also known as the linen stitch). Not only is the Mossy Grove twisted headband easy to make, it is also a quick project to make. This headband comes in a variety of sizes, from toddler up to adult large. For this pattern, I used Vanna’s Choice yarn. Vanna’s choice yarn is a 4 weight yarn that is both soft to the touch and affordable. Although this is the yarn I used, feel free to use any 4 weight yarn you wish to use.

Circumference: 18, (19, 20, 22, 23) inches
Height: 3, (4, 4.5, 4.5, 4.75) inches

MATERIALS

• 1 skein of lion brand Vanna’s choice (I used dusty green and olive)
• US size J, 6.00 mm
• Tapestry needle (for weaving in ends)
• scissors

CONSTRUCTION

This twisted headband is made making a rectangle, which is then seamed so that it creates a ‘twisted’ look. A photo tutorial is included for the seaming portion of this pattern.
