This hat pattern is sized for the whole family from baby up to large adult (16” through to 24” head circumference). It knits up quickly in DK weight yarn with a textured stitch pattern that is easy to memorise and fun to work.
Pattern tension is 23 sts and 32 rows to 4” over stocking stitch.
You will need:
84 (105, 130, 155, 190) yds (77 (96, 119, 142, 174)m) DK weight yarn
3.5mm (US4) knitting needles for knitting in the round, or one size smaller than size needed to achieve pattern tension
3.75mm (US5) knitting needles for knitting in the round, or size needed to achieve pattern tension
3 stitch markers (2 the same, 1 different)
Darning needle, for weaving in ends

You need to be able to: work in the round including small circumferences, work from written instructions (there are no charts for this design) using common decreases
