A sweet, slightly tall hat, knit in the round, for an infant, (3-12 months); toddler (9-18 months); or small child (12 months to 3 years). Sport weight yarn is used for this fun hat.

A Double-Braided edge that will make you feel quite accomplished (looks harder than it is!) and topped with a chunky tassel or the modern choice, baby dreadlocks. Baby dreads are just small drapery cords you twist yourself and wrap together with yarn. Dreads stand tall on the tip of the hat and make a really bold statement.

Mother Goose may be old-fashioned but this hat will put your baby top on the fashion charts! Worked in two color stranded stockinette, the pattern includes 2 charts that can be copied, cut out and taped together. Separate charted areas on the hat with markers to make them easy to track.
