I made this sweater for my mother in law because she accidentally washed the last one I made and shrunk it to child size. It works up really quick.

As I was finishing up the pockets I realized I was going to be just short on yarn with my 2 skeins of Fourth of July from Briar Rose. I grabbed a yarn from my leftover pile that was a similar weight to use as a contrasting edge color. If you had a third skein you could do it the same color vs the contrasting edge, but honestly I love how the contrast ended up making the sweater really pop.
