In August of 2020 I will be celebrating 10 years of marriage to my amazing husband, and we chose to have the wedding we never got to have when we first married. When my mother told me she planned to wear her Majesty shawl I had made her the previous Christmas, I was honored, but worried. The wedding was planned for late August, and Majesty is a huge, heavy, and very warm shawl! So, I ordered some beautiful hand dyed sock yarn and designed this shawl for her to wear instead.

I am now offering my patterns on a sliding price scale.
Use code Nickel1 - $1.00 off
Use code Nickel2 - $2.00 off

Notes about Pattern-
Shawl is worked from the center top, down and out to corners.
Pattern is written with 6 colors in mind: 2 Main Colors (MC1, MC2) and 4 Contrast Colors (CC1, CC2, CC3, CC4). Color changes are indicated in pattern, however, as always, I encourage you to use as many or as few colors as you like.
Shawl has a defined Right Side (RS) and Wrong Side (WS).
Shawl is worked in alternating sections of solid and X stitch lace, and ends with a lace border.

I used some lovely hand-dyed sock yarn from a favorite dyer, but any yarn that you love will work! I encourage you to use any number of colors, yarn you may have in your stash, even a different gauge!
