This is a very straight forward beanie hat knitted in the round and then embroidered afterwards.
I wanted to design something cheerful and uplifting as a gift to my Mother. It has Green ribbing to represent fresh grass, bright blue sky and a sunshine centrepiece on the crown.
The flowers are daffodils created with 6 daisy chain stitches and a contrast yellow trumpet made with a single French knot. Written instructions for how to do these stitches are included .
