Mother’s Love
Nothing is as sweet as a mother’s love

As soon as I saw this lovely heart lace pattern, I knew it needed to be something special. Then I found out that a lovely gentle lady that I know was having her first baby, and it was going to be a boy.
So I designed this shawl as a small item that she could pop round her shoulders whilst nursing the baby. The main body is a pale pink with the edging knitted in a blue yarn.

It is a semi crescent shawl knitted top down with a beautiful lace edge added on at the end.

The sample used approx. 60g of each of the yarns, so would use approx. 120g of a 4ply yarn. I also used Yarn for the Soul Merino Silk.
