Hat, Mitts and cowl… OH MY!!
We just had our 4th annual Knit all the things in the Mountains Retreat hosted by our LYS Hippy Strings and it was the absolute BEST weekend!!

This Mountain Bluebird Trio was the feature pattern for all of the attendees and now we can share it with you!

The main body of the hat and mitts are knit with DK weight yarn and then there’s a surprise on the inside of the mitts… they are lined with something extra cozy!! Choose your favourite mohair or suri alpaca to line your mittens AND mix with your DK for a super soft cowl!

Here’s what you’ll need:

3.5mm (US4) needles for the hat and mittens for knitting in the round
4.0mm (US6) for the cowl (knit flat)
4 stitch markers
Cable needle (optional)
Scrap yarn for the cowl’s provisional cast on
2 DK 100g (274yds) each
1 skein mohair or Suri 50g (450yds)
