The Mountain Thistle Cowl is created in Tunisian crochet (also known as cro-hook) with Green Mountain Spinnery’s Alpaca Elegance Yarn (50% Alpaca and 50% Fine Wool). The cowl depicts a triad of the Scottish thistle flower and is worked in the round using Lily Chin’s Tunisian crochet colorwork technique that brings either the forward pass or pull-through/return pass color to the front by changing the stitch used. This colorwork method results in no floats or carries on the ‘wrong side’ of the fabric. The cowl requires two 58g skeins of Alpaca Elegance, as pictured in colors Dragon Well and Lavender Cream. A quick Tunisian crochet project to keep you warm in the cold winter months ahead.
