“Mountain Trail” started with a paper map, open on a knee, and a morning too foggy to see the next ridge. The sweater needed to feel like that — steady, a little worn-in, ready for wherever the path goes.

This relaxed, oversized pullover pairs a deep charcoal body with a colorwork yoke in cream, grey, and mustard — bold enough to anchor an outfit, calm enough for everyday wear. Worked in the round from the bottom up, the body and sleeves are knit separately, then joined for the yoke — no seams except grafting the underarms.

A great next project if you have tried colorwork before, or a rewarding first one: the chart uses clear color blocks and straightforward decreases, explained step by step.

Comes in 6 sizes (S–XXXL), 7–10cm positive ease, for a cozy, oversized fit. Yarn is an alpaca-merino blend with a polyamide core thread, 150m/50g — any yarn matching this gauge and yardage will work.
