During my recent visit to Boquete, Panama, I had the honor of taking part in a crochet & knitting community dedicated to helping Indigenous Panamanian women by providing them with baby items to bring their newborns home in.

While there, I designed and made this very simple easy-to-crochet blanket and hat set (which includes a built in blanket border) and donated it to the community in the hopes that it would be loved and used. As a way of continuing to assist this wonderful group of ladies even from afar, every dollar earned from the purchase of this pattern set will be used to directly support their ongoing work in providing baby items and sustaining their community.

From one pair of hands to another, may kindness keep traveling. One blanket. One baby. One act of kindness.
