Named after Mount’s Bay in Cornwall, as the peaks in the trim look a little like St Michael’s Mount- and it is somewhere you often need a shawl!

I have successfully knitted this in a variety of alpaca DK yarns. Pictured is Rowan Alpaca Colour, which has a subtle change in hue and makes for an interesting effect.

This is a satisfyingly easy shawl, with a lace trim knitted last. Being DK it is also quite a quick knit, but it’s big enough to be nice and snuggly.
