An open-front sleeveless baby vest worked flat in moss stitch, sized 0–3 months to 24 months.

The body is worked in one piece to the underarms, then divided for fronts and back and joined at the shoulders with mattress stitch. I-cord ties at the front opening keep the fit adjustable as the baby grows.

Worked in DK weight yarn on 4.5 mm needles, with 3.5 mm double-pointed needles for the i-cord ties. Advanced beginner: if you can knit and purl, you are ready.
