*** Third update includes details to continue on from the Afghan Block and work this up into an “In the Round Blanket”.

** Second update includes details for a border section that can be worked around the Afghan Block Blanket.**

ERRATA : The link to the video mentioned in the Notes on Page 4 was not included on that page, but was included in the pattern instructions on Page 12. I have included it here too https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sN1bZfDRtqQ.

Page 12, Round 4, should just be blsc 1, not standing blsc.

These designs are created with Overlay Mosaic Crochet, so some knowledge of this technique is helpful. Having said that, if you know how to chain, back loop single crochet, front loop double crochet, slip stitch and can keep count you will be able to make any of these designs.

The pattern includes instructions for an Afghan Block worked in the round, as well as instructions for using the 15-stitch motif to make a Horizontal Panel Blanket.

Repeat the Afghan Block to make a blanket, a cushion cover, a set of place mats, a table runner or wrap.

Use the Afghan Block as the central section in a full “In the Round” blanket, by simply repeating the 15 stitch motif multiple times across each of the 4 sides, details included.

To make a Horizontal Panel Blanket, simply increase the number of 15 stitch motif repeats to make it large enough to cover any bed size. Or if you want to make a scarf or a wrap, use only two or three repeats of the motif to get the width you need, and repeat as many times as necessary to get it to the perfect length.

I have included links to videos made to provide clarification for certain parts of the pattern, including a video which shows you how to start your Horizontal Panel Blanket without using chains.

Full details are provided of yarn amounts used per individual motif for the horizontal panels and for the Afghan Block.

Total yardage needed would depend on how you use the pattern.
