Mr. Mouse

It is a crochet pattern in PDF (800KB) containing 8 pages teaching how to make a Mouse amigurumi.

The pattern has pictures showing the process and it is written in US Terminology.

Size: around 24 cm/ 9” counting the hat.

Skill level: medium. It requires some experience in making Amigurumi as it has color changes and sewing parts.

“Mr. Mouse design was inspired by the British gentleman of the Victorian era. He wears a top hat, smart clothing and a pointy moustache and his penchant for cheese and wine has left him a little bit portly.”

The pattern also comes with a drawing of Mr. Mouse so your kid can paint him! I also suggest a fun activity where your kid can create a story for Mr. Mouse, this way the child will be even more connected to him!

Materials:

  • Crochet hook 2.5 mm/ C-2 (the hook size can vary depending on the yarn you choose to use);
  • Yarn colors Off-white (40m), Light blue (30m), Black (80m) and some Pink (2m) for the nose and the tail. I used Scheepjes Stone Washed XL colour Moon Stone for the skin, Knit craft Cotton Blend Plain Double knitting colours light blue, black and pink (you can use the yarn you have though);
  • Stitch marker (to mark the first stitch of the round);
  • Scissors;
  • 2 black plastic safety eyes of 8 mm;
  • Fiberfill;
  • Tapestry needle;
  • Pins to hold the pieces in place before sewing;
  • 4 buttons.
