Based on the Crochet Ravelry: Mrs. Claus’ Red Riding Hood pattern by Dorianna Rivelli pattern, I wanted a knit version. So, I created this!

• White will be fur as an overlay on the cable, which will be on the INSIDE of the hood.

• Knit the cable, pick up stitches on the wrong side with faux fur and knit width of cable.

• Pick up stitches along the open long end of the cable and knit the rest of the hood, using 3-needle bind off

MATERIALS:
Yarns

  1. 1 skein Worsted weight White Sparkle Party_Caron Simply Soft Party Yarn | JOANN

  2. 1 skein Worsted weight Red Sparkle Party_Caron Simply Soft Party Yarn | JOANN

Go for Faux Fur Yarn
• 1 skein white Lion Brand Go For Faux Thick & Quick Yarn | JOANN

NEEDLES
• Size US 7 circular needles (or straight needles; won’t be working in the round) + an extra size 7 needle for the 3-needle bind-off

• Yarn Needle

• 2 Large hook & eye OR 2 large snaps (optional)

Gauge: 16 stitches = Approx. 4 inches

Size: Adult/One Size (can be made for other sizes
by making the cable panel shorter and the length from front to back, shorter)
