Much Loved Cardigan is an aran pattern cardigan with raglan sleeves. The cables are knitted tbl to make them stand out and the twisted stitch pattern at the front is carried across the shaping of the v neck just to make it look like a cardigan made with love.

Made in five separate pieces then sewed together.
Button band picked up and knitted using a very long circular needle (mine is 50” plus the interchangeable needles)
Buttonholes made using Techknitter’s wonderful technique Tulip Buttonholes.
Needle and thread needed for sewing on the buttons.

Currently only available in 38”. I will try to work out other sizes soon.

I made this in Mirasol Miski which is a beautiful, soft, snuggly yarn made from baby llama. It is gorgeous to wear but it’s a bit soft and fluffy to have sharp stitch definition. I would recommend a yarn containing sheep wool to make this cardigan, something that shows off the cables well even after a few washes.
