“Many a mickle makes a muckle”. This Scottish saying is widely understood to mean something along the lines of “many little things add up to a lot”.

This double wrap cowl is worked in the round and in one piece with an attractive lace pattern featuring seed stitch filled diamonds.

This elegant lace pattern only requires basic lace knitting skills such as left and right leaning decreases and a double centred decrease.

Size: 11” (28cm) height x 60” (152cm) circumference.

Gauge: 16.5 sts over 28 rows in Lace Pattern.

Needles: US size 6 (4.0mm) circular needle 32” (80cm) long, stitch marker, tapestry needle

The cowl is worked in a soft, luxurious, slightly variegated DK weight yarn, but other yarn weights work equally well. Just remember to adjust yarn amount and needle size.

The pattern includes the lace chart and fully written instructions.
