This muffatee, or wrist-warmer, pattern was published in The Ladies' Knitting and Netting Book by Miss Watts, beginning in the 1841 edition. As an early Victorian pattern, it does not indicate what type of yarn or size needles to use. There is no gauge given. The pattern is knit in the round with three repeats of the pattern.
