Materials
Fine combed yarn Vuonue Wilhelmi (70% Finnish wool, 30% Tencel, 400 m / 100 g): 3 skeins 250 g or 1000 m / 1095 yds
Lang Yarns Lace silk mohair (58% super kid mohair, 42% silk, 310 m / 25 g): 3 balls (75 g or 930 m)
The shawl is knitted holding one strand of each yarn together.
Sample shawl: Vuonue Wilhelmi in light gray (vaaleanharmaa) and Lang Yarns Lace in color white.

Needles:
• Circular needle US 6 / 4 mm cable length 80–100 cm / 32”–39.5”
• Cable needle or double pointed needle for working cables

Notions:
• Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
• 3 stitch markers

Techniques used in this pattern:
• Stockinette Stitch: knit on the RS, purl on the WS
• Garter Stitch: knit every row (knit on the RS, knit on the WS).
• Rib: Knit 2, purl 2, repeat – at the end of the row
• Cable patterns worked back and forth: follow the written instructions and/or Chart. Make the cable crossings according to the chart. The cables cross on the RS. On the WS: Purl the p sts and knit the k sts.

Gauge
• 26 sts and 29 rows = 10 cm / 4 inches in cable knitting in the rows using US 6 / 4 mm needle (after blocking).
• 20 sts and 29 rows = 10 cm / 4 inches in Garter Stitch in the rows using US 6 / 4 mm needle (after blocking).

Construction:
The scarf is worked flat from the bottom up. One stitch is decreased on every other row. The cable stitches are worked according to the chart or written instructions.

Muistojen medaljongit -huivissa yhdistyvät yksinkertaisen kaunis ainaoikeinneule ja taidokas palmikkokuvio, joka muistuttaa medaljonkien herkkää jatkumoa. Jokaiseen neulottuun silmukkaan voi tallentaa kauniita muistoja ja ajatuksia, jotka ovat kuin kätkettyinä medaljonkien sisään – säilyttäen niiden salaisuudet ja lämmittäen huivin kantajaa. Neuletekniikat
Ainaoikeinneule: neulo oikein työn molemmilla puolilla
Joustinneule: Neulo 2 o, 2 n, toista.
Palmikkoneule tasona: Seuraa kaavion ohjetta. Huomioi, että nurjalla kerroksella palmikkokuvion kaaviota luetaan vasemmalta oikealle. Palmikonkierrot tehdään aina OP:n kerroksella, NP:lla neulo nurjat silmukat nurin ja oikeat silmukat oikein.

Neuleen rakenne
