DANSK:

Mulan Tunika er strikket i vaffelstrik (også kaldet forskudt halvpatent). En teknik som jeg første gang så hos en strikkende vestjysk kvinde i 1990´erne og siden har det været en teknik, jeg ofte vender tilbage til i mine designs. Vaffelstrik har et 3-dimensionelt udtryk.
Teknikken har jeg brugt i flere af mine strikmodeller: Underværk Bluse, Mellemværk Bluse, Sand Dune Hue.

Mulan fås også som tunikakjole.

Strikkefasthed: 13 masker og 26 pinde = 10 x 10 cm i mønsterstrik
Garn: 250 (300) 400 gram Kabuto Fine fra Noro – 55 % uld, 25 % silke, 10 % kashmir og 10 % alpaka. Løbelængde: 200 m/100 gram.

The Mulan Tunic is created using waffle stitches (also known as broken brioche stitch). A technique that I encountered for the first time when visiting a woman from Western Jutland back in the 1990s. Since then it’s been a technique that I find myself returning to often in my designs.
Waffle stitch has a 3D texture. I’ve use it in Underværk blouse, Mellemværk blouse and the Sand Dune hat to mention a few examples.

Mulan is also avaliable in a TunicDress version.

Yarn: 250 (300) 400 grams of Kabuto Fine from Noro – 55 % wool, 25 % silk, 10 % cashmer and 10 % alpaca. Yardage: 100 grams = 200 meters / 218 yards.
