The Mullion poncho is perfect if you love lace but don’t like wearing shawls. A simple lace pattern is followed by a bold edging. The poncho is worked in the round from the top down. It comes in two sizes but can easily be adjusted to a different size.

Navia Bummull (4ply; 55% wool/45% cotton; 230m/251yds per 50g) x 3 (4) balls. Shown in shade: 402 String
3.5mm (UK 10/US 4) circular needle, 40cm (16in)
4mm (UK 8/US 6) circular needles, 40cm (16in), 80cm (32in) and 100cm (40in) lengths

Notes on size: The sample shown in photos is the Tall option; it fits a tall person whether they require a slim or plus size. Choose size based on height as well as build, adjusting length if necessary. For a short plus size, cast on for the Tall size and work fewer repeats of Charts C and D. For a very slim tall size, you may wish to cast on for the Petite size and work extra repeats of Charts C and D.

Tension:
18 sts and 25 rows over 10cm/4in in Chart A after blocking.
Exact tension is not essential but a difference in tension may affect the final size and amount of yarn used.

ERRATA - 10 September 2017:
Green square in chart key applies to chart B not A.
The blue square in chart D is k2tog in first repeat only. Written instructions are correct.
