These fun multicolored stacking baskets are beginner-friendly, and work up pretty quickly. They also are an easy way to combine two colors without having to switch back and forth, as you will crochet using both strands at the same time. The pattern includes three sizes of baskets that can stack inside each other, but also could be made separately.

The sizes are:

Small (approx. 5” square base, 4.25” tall), Medium (approx. 5.75” square base, 4.75” tall), Large (approx. 6.5” square base, 5.25” tall)

To complete this project, you will need to know the following stitches: magic circle, sc, sc inc, sc dec, sl st

You will need:

Bulky yarn in two colors. I used Bernat Maker Home Dec Yarn, which is 72% Cotton and 28% Nylon, in Woodberry and Aqua. The skeins were 8.8oz/250g, 317yds/290m, and I used almost the entire two skeins for the three baskets. You will crochet using both strands at the same time.

6.0mm (US J) hook

Yarn needle big enough to fit bulky yarn
