The concept of infinite parallel universes is translated into a triangular shawl. The main panel in the multi-colored yarn stands for our universe, the eight smaller short row wegdes represent different parallel universes, with the figure eight being a symbol for infinity. The multi-colored yarn is featured in different stitch patterns, changing its appearance and giving an idea of everything that could be.

modular construction: The shawl starts with the long pooling band, then small triangles are added at both shorter sides to determine the shape, then stitches are picked up along both long sides of the pooling band. A basic explanation of how to achieve stacked pooling is included.

techniques required (not explained in the pattern):
provisional cast-on, increasing, decreasing, picking up stitches, short rows, two-colored intarsia, icord, icord around corners, kitchener stitch.
