Worked from the top down in stockinette and garter stitch, this angular shawl achieves contrasts in color and drape by combining solid and self-striping yarns and increasing needle size. The “winged” shape helps the shawl stay wrapped and creates multiple styling options.

This is mindless knitting at its best: a chance to play with color and fabulous yarns while creating a dramatic shawl that involves very little counting and no charts!
