The Muriel Backpack is a cute and stylish way to carry around your daily essentials. It is a cylindrical shape and is constructed by using joined rounds, working from base to brim, with a mesh section in the middle. Finished dimensions are approximately 6” diameter at the base and 12” tall.

This pattern is considered an advanced beginner pattern and requires the following skills:
-single crochet stitch
-chain stitch
-double crochet stitch
-magic ring
-join with a slip stitch
-single crochet increase
-single crochet in the back loop only
-fasten off

…and uses the following tools and materials:
Yarn: Lily Sugar’n Cream cotton yarn or any other #4 weight cotton yarn that meets gauge
Main Bag: approx. 160yds (90g)
Straps & Tie: approx. 64yds (36g)
Needle: 4.5mm or size to meet gauge
