Murmuration socks are inspired by the stunning sights of starlings flocking together, theses murmurations are also seen in schools of fish. Using a simple cable stitch to capture the birds in mid flight.

Sock Tip, after placing waste yarn for the heel, knit about an inch in pattern then pick up the heel stitches, this allows you to try on the sock periodically so you knit the right length foot.

A few test knitters did ask if the pattern can be made to continuously go around the leg of the sock, while this was not my intended design this can be achieved by simply modifying the cable pattern,
Rows 7-8: sl1, k6,(slx2,k6)x3, sl1
Row 9: C3L,k2,(C3R,C3L,k2)x3, C3R
Row 10: Knit.

If you would prefer to knit these socks in DK or in a smaller size than stated please let me know and I can help you adapt this pattern.
