This double-sided mushroom cap coaster brings a touch of woodland whimsy to any setting. Front and back post stitches bring lifelike texture to the gills, and multiple colour options and ideas are available for the top of the mushroom cap.

This pattern uses dk weight yarn in either acrylic or cotton, and works up to be about 4.5 inches/11cm in diameter.

Required skills: chains, single crochets, double crochets, back post and front post double crochets
