The finished mushrooms are approx. 13,5 and 15 cm tall.

Yarn
The mushroom friends are only made from the yarn Chenille 4 from Lammy Yarns, but you can use any brand of yarn you like, or any type of yarn that matches the hook size. You will need the following amounts and colors:

• Chenille 4, red: Ca. 30 g
• Chenille 4, white: Ca. 42 g
• Chenille 4, light pink: Very little (only for cheeks)
• Chenille 4, black: Very little (only for mouth) Note: You can also use a different kind of yarn and the hook size that matches that yarn, but the amouts of yarn needed and the size of the finished product will not be the same.

You will also need

• Stuffing, about 35-40 g
• 2 sets of safety eyes, 16 mm - one set of eyes for each mushroom

Crochet hook
4,0 mm/US size G-6
If you are used to using a different sized hook for this yarn you can do that, but it might have a small impact on the size of the finished product, and the needed amount of yarn. You can check the crochet gauge to make sure you have the right sized hook.

Crochet Gauge
10 cm wide (approximately 3.9 inches) = 16 stitches (single crochet)
If you have less than 16 stitches on 10 cm, then switch to a smaller sized hook.
If you have more than 16 stitches on 10 cm, then switch to a larger sized hook.
