Adventure of Flower Mole
There was a lonely flower mole named “Mole” in a desert. He sometimes went to grandmother’s house in a village for fun. The old lady talked to him. “There are many beautiful flowers blooming somewhere in the world.” Mole asked her, “What is a flower?” She answered, “It’s like one on the tip of Mole’s nose.” Mole wanted to see various flowers. And he went on a journey to find flowers by himself.
Mole is coming to London to look for flowers. Mole has met so far the King’s ghost, Buckingham Palace flowers, a tree owl, a stone lion, a worm on tile flowers blooming at Gloucester Road Station, a red double decker bus and a mysterious old lady.
Mole left the King’s Cross station as soon as he woke up in the morning. When he is walking slowly through the street of the city, he found a building like a big round circle floating in the sky far away. He wondered, so he decided to go there…
This is the pattern of the hat in the shape of a mushroom that the Mole got from Mr. Mushroom.

Techniques
This hat is crocheted using a crochet hook. The crocheting pattern seems to be Aran pattern. I have crocheted two pieces with yarn of different colors. Would you make this hat with a pumpkin color yarn and wear it on Halloween party? And if you crochet the hat with a red yarn and a green yarn, you can make it a gift for love at Christmas. The technique to crochet the hat is called popcorn stitches and fpdc. There are pictures and videos about the technique. Color A uses 1 ball of Blue variegated yarn and Color B uses 1 ball of Gray yarn in the commentary. But, you would be able to knit with excess yarn in your stash. The pattern of flower motifs to be attached to the top of the hat is also explained. It has 17 rounds to completion.
