I wanted my blanket to feel like a song, with the colors changing the same way that music can change your mood.

I used my yarn leftovers for this project, so I’m sorry but I’m not entirely sure how many yards you’ll need.
I used a 5.5mm hook for slightly thicker yarns or if I was carrying another yarn in the stitch, and sized up to a 6.0mm hook if the yarn was thinner.
Across the body of the blanket, I alternated SC FLO, SC BLO, which gives it a nice texture, and in the piano keys did SC both loops so the definition of the keys is easier to see.
I crochet pretty tightly, so a more relaxed stitch would easily make your project bigger, so feel free to size up or down on your hook based on your stitching.
