This is my own batshawl-pattern, I came up with the idea this fall just before Halloween.

You can make any size, from scarf-size up to BIG. The size depends om how many bats in a row you make.

Gauge is not important, just chose the needles so you get nice stockinette parts.

My examples are knitted in Debbie Bliss Rialto Lace (the darker grey) and Schachenmayr Fine Wool (the lighter gray)

Theese shawls are approximately 180 cm wide and 80 cm from top to bottom.
