My Bear Beanie

This cute beanie is a lovely accessory for every child. The pattern includes 7 sizes ranging from newborn up to 12 years. It has detailed instructions for knitting both flat and in the round.

The cute bear face is made with purl stitches that will appear when knitting the beanie.

The pattern has written detailed instructions row by row/round by round.

You will find helpful links showing how to knit the rib and how to make decreases in the pattern. A chart is included as a supplement to the written instructions.

The hat is knitted in the round OR flat on straight needles, both instructions are included (two separate PDF files.

Skill level 1 & 2: Beginner / Easy

KNITTED FLAT (Only in English)

Straight needles in two sizes:
US 2.5 / 3 mm and US 4 / 3.5 mm

OR

KNITTED IN THE ROUND:

Circular needles in two sizes:
US 2.5 / 3 mm and US 4 / 3.5 mm
16 in / 40 cm and double-pointed needles (DPNs) once you have fewer stitches on the needle after decreasing. You can also use the magic loop method instead of DPNs.

FOR BOTH TECHNIQUES:
● Yarn (merino wool, wool, acrylic or any other DK / light worsted / 8 ply yarn)

Yarn suggestions: Rialto DK from Debbie Bliss or Cascade 220 Superwash Merino or Garnstudio Drops Merino Extra Fine
