This design is dedicated to my mother, who was my best friend. She passed away suddenly from colon cancer in 2011.

Each section of this infinity scarf represents memories with my mother. Walks on the beach, while collecting rocks and shells. Her beautiful singing voice and her love of music/rhythm. Her love of flowers and gardening. The reason for choosing to design a cowl, is the memory of her hugs she gave freely.

You have the choice of a cowl or an infinity scarf. This is worked flat, using a provisional cast on (instructions for a provisional cast-on is included). Work each stitch section for a cowl, repeat each section one more time for the infinity scarf. Then, either Kitchener stitch or three needle bind-off together.
This pattern has seed stitch (walks on the beach), a simple 6-st cable pattern (the flow and rhythm of music), and a simple lace pattern(flowers in the garden).
