This hat is knit in the round with a twisted rib brim for a snugger fit and no decreasing at the crown, giving it the perfect pucker. We knit ours in Plucky Cashmere because, well,, everyone needs a cashmere hat! Once you choose your favorite Plucky sport weight yarn, all that’s left is to decide on stripes or solid.

Yarn:
• Plucky Cashmere Sport Weight, 100% cashmere;
285 yds, 1 skein Apprx 157 (199, 249) yds.

Note: For a striped version use 3 skeins of Plucky
Cashmere Sport Weight. Half skeins will be more
than enough yardage.

Materials:
• US Size 4 (3.5 mm) and 6 (4.0 mm) 16” circular needles,
or sizes needed to obtain the correct gauge.
• Tapestry needle
• Stitch marker

Gauge:
25 sts and 32 rnds = 4” in St st; 28 sts and 32 rnds = 4” in 1x1 Twisted Rib, unstretched.

Finished Measurments:
16 (18¼, 20¾)” circumference; 9 (11, 12)” tall;
hat shown measures 18¼”

Special Stitches:
Stockinette Stitch (in the round)
Rnd 1 Knit.
Rep Rnd 1 for patt.

1x1 Twisted Rib (in the round)
