A simple and striking, colourful poncho with an easy fringe detail. Part of the ‘My Colourful’ range of Tunisian Crochet Patterns.

The poncho is worked sideways so the stripes run the width of the poncho, created by a simple 5 row-repeating pattern. The fast colour changes are emphasised by the Tunisian Simple Stitch, resulting in an appearance that looks like the Poncho has been woven. A simple large buttonhole functions as the neck opening.

There are NO ENDS TO WEAVE IN!! The ends that you create when you begin and end your work and when you change colour are knotted together at each end to become the fringe.
