My Crochet Kitchen: Bicolour Pear Gourd
** Currently in testing **
Growing pumpkins and gourds is one of the highlights of my Summer – and harvesting them in Autumn is even better!
These little bicolour pear gourds are such a stunning variety, and are perfect for decorating the house (just heads up, gourds aren’t edible!).
This is an intermediate pattern because although the stitches are all fairly straightforward, it’s heavy on colourwork throughout. You’ll work in continuous rounds, and then the stem is crocheted separately before attaching.
You’ll also find a photo tutorial and stitch guide included to help you with the particular techniques used throughout this pattern, and to grow your amigurumi skills!
You could try making multiple gourds in a range of different sizes / shapes, adding some natural variation to the height with a few extra rounds of xs all round etc.
Happy crocheting!
