My father was part First Nations Aboriginal Native on his mother’s side. He spent his life living and working in the outdoors. Hunting, fishing, camping, and working as a Faller. He died on September 01, 2024. I designed this pattern to honour his final journey home…to Heaven.

I work a double envelope border on my blankets, afghans, and throws. If you choose to do this for your project, I recommend you search YouTube. You will find several videos there to help you do this.
I hope you enjoy your journey working on My Father’s Journey Home. If you have any questions or find any mistakes in the charts, written instructions, or both, please contact me through Ravelry. I don’t have testers at this time and my eyes do get tired. Thank you for purchasing my pattern.
