Though there are lots of basic sock patterns available these days, I’ve been perfecting my favorite socks for awhile and finally feel it’s ready to share with all of you sock knitters, new and experienced alike!

DK socks knit up in a jiffy, you can finish a pair in a weekend. They are extra squishy and more flexible with fit than fingering weight socks. Perfect for gifting or family sock sharing :)

CONSTRUCTION
Cuff down - easiest to try on as you go
Square heel - best fit, in my opinion
Wedge Toe - modified to look and feel the best, in and out of shoes

Add contrast cuff, heel and/or toe as you wish.

TECHNIQUE
MagicLoop is my favorite for sock knitting. I’ve include my tried-and-true tips for seamless joins and organizing stitches.
Easily adapted to DPN or short circulars, if you prefer.

YARN
Drops Fiesta DK. (50g=110m/120yds)
2 skeins of main color, 1 skein for contrast.
or 100g of any DK weight yarn, recommend a blend with some nylon in for added durability.
