I love a washcloth that just fits my hand, not stiff or floppy-loosey when filled with warm water and soap but with a little give and stretch. At two cloths per 70 gram ball of cotton, this seed stitch washcloth is my perfect fit, a real economic treat & a quick knit.

Gettting an exact gauge is not critical.

Materials
1 ball worsted weight 4-ply 100% cotton yarn, usually less than 30 grams
1 pair US Size 4 (3.5 mm) needles
Tapestry or yarn needle to weave in ends

(Sample knit in “I Love This Cotton” #230 Woods Print on size 5 needles by Patty Bowers. Thanks Patty!)
