My Favourite Stripey Mittens!

THE PATTERN
These super cute and cosy mitts are quick and fun to work up! You can use your favourite snuggly yarn or raid your stash and make them with scraps for a special colourful creation. The detailed crochet pattern is suitable for total crochet beginners and includes written instructions for every step of the make and lots of photos to help more visual makers

DETAILS AND SIZES:
This crochet pattern uses American crochet terminology and has step by step directions for each row as well as lots of clear photos. It is made to measure so you can make these mittens for any size of hands. A tape measure is handy to have for this pattern but you can also measure from your own hand as you work.

SKILL LEVEL:
This crochet pattern is suitable for beginners and up. It uses the stitches Slip Stitch, Single Crochet, Double Crochet and Half Double Crochet. If you are a total beginner i have youtube videos which can be viewed that clearly explain each of these stitches. The pattern includes explanations and photos for all special stitches.

MATERIALS:
You will need DK weight yarn and a 3.5 mm and a 4mm crochet hook. I have used Paintbox acrylic DK for this project which works great. But these will work for any DK weight yarn. You will need between 80- 100 grams depending on the size you are making.
