This lace and cable sock was designed with the old-fashioned, homemade valentines in mind. It’s got beads, lace, cables, and silly little cut out hearts all over.

Materials: I found 2 100g skeins of sock yarn were necessary, in addition to my lace edging yarn. If you choose, to use a contrasting color for your lace cuff (strongly recommended), you should have approx. 50g of sock weight yarn. If you choose to use the same color, plan to add that much to your yarn calculations.
In addition, you will need approximately 1 yard or 1 meter of a 3/8ths inch or 1cm wide ribbon, either grosgrain or smooth, and 75(90) seed beads large enough easily on your lace cuff yarn choice.

Skills: Lace knitting (as in, a pattern worked on both sides--no rest rows!), sock construction, and cabling experience strongly recommended.
