My Horsie stands 29cm (11inches) and is knitted top down, the head, front legs and body are knitted in one flat piece with a seam under the muzzle, down the centre back and at the back of the front legs. The hind legs, ears, mane and tail are knitted separately and stitched in place. I have knitted the mane separately instead of knitting it into the main body so that you are not limited to using long eyelash and some knitters may choose to latch hook the mane in normal yarn.
