These are top down socks knitted from cuff to toe in a rather fine gauge with lots of patterning and lots of twisted stitches. The stitch patterns are mostly traditional Bavarian and Austrian with adaptations.
The pattern is chart based.
In addition to the stated yarn requirements there is a wool remnant in a contrasting color needed for the embellishment (flower stem and leaf).

The pattern will be available for download after May of 2010, up to this time it is available to the members of the Wollmeise Sock Club 2008/2009 exclusively.
