My New Year’s Socks
This is a Cuff - Down Sock Pattern with a fully ribbed leg to ensure a more comfortable fit.

The pattern has instructions for both a German Short Row Heel as well as a Heel Flap, - Turn, and Gusset arrangement

Tools and Materials
Yarn: Opal 4-ply Sock Yarn (75% Virgin Wool and 25% Polyamide) 100g = 425m
Needles: 2.5mm needles or whichever needle size provides the required gauge – The needles can be Double Pointed Needles, 9” fixed circulars, or circular needles, depending on your preferred method for sock knitting.
Notions:
Scissors, 4 Stitch Markers of which one must be unique to indicate the beginning of the round, and a Tapestry Needle for weaving in ends
Sizes:
These sizes are for foot circumferences (measured around the widest part of your foot):
S: 22-23 cm / 8-9”
M: 24-25 cm / 9-10”
L: 26-27 cm / 10-11”
XL: 28-29 cm / 11-12”
