This is a simple easy-going pattern that uses basic stitches - fsc, ch, sc and, dc to give a lovely lacy flower.

I think that this looks like the lovely Poinsettia flower - and coincidentally my choice of yarn is also very “Christmas-sy”.

This pattern has been tested using 3-ply acrylic (Oswal Mills), Vanna’s Glamour (approx 90g) and 3-ply / fingering weight wool (approx 80g/200 yds)
