I love knitting sweaters, but I prefer a more casual look for every day; I just want to be able to grab something easy to wear with a pair of jeans and a ponytail.

This sweater-ized version of a classic hooded sweatshirt starts at the neck and works down in three pieces; the body, and two sleeves. The pocket is integrated into the body of the sweater, with the contrasting lining knit right in. The pieces are joined and then the hood or optional cowl is picked up and knit from the neck up.

The bust and waist shaping can be omitted (as written in the pattern) to fit a man’s frame.

The XS measures 28” at the bust, and the XXL measures 44”.

I also have a super bulky version of this: Danny’s Sweatshirt.
